Vinyl Arch Rodeo is the solo Rock project from Israeli musician, Guy Saar.
Growing up fascinating by UK Indie scene, while inspired by much of its predecessors’ British Rock & American blues, He became hooked on the signature guitar sounds and became inspired to pen his own songs and become a part of his local music scene, mastering guitar, and becoming a versatile musician.
Spending the past couple of decades playing in various bands in his home country of Israel, ranging from small Indie-Rock outfits to cover bands and taking every opportunity to perform live. During this time, he built up a huge catalogue of original songs which he is now releasing as a solo project under the alias, ‘Vinyl Arch Rodeo’.
Vinyl Arch Rodeo’s first single, ‘Everyone’, was released in January 2021, with two more singles, ‘Time to Try Your Best’ and ‘See the Sun’ respectively, released to precede the launch of ‘Herodotus’, Vinyl Arch Rodeo’s debut album that is due for release in April 2021. Recording for the album took place over a year and a half, with Vinyl Arch Rodeo collaborating with a producer in Israel to put decades of creative work into a physical form.
Both Herodotus and the entire project take inspiration from classic Indie sounds as well as folk and alternative music, creating English language music that is both authentic and complex yet can appeal to an international audience.
